A Capitol Heights man has died from injuries he sustained when he was stabbed in the District, police said on Thursday.
Dwight Gaiter, 26, died Wednesday evening. He was stabbed early Tuesday in the 400 block of 56th Street Northeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
A police spokeswoman had no further information about the stabbing on Friday.
