Perhaps we ought to remind President Obama that during the Barbary Wars, U.S. Marines, led by Lt. Presley N. O’Bannon, stormed the Libyan city of Tripoli, seized the harbor port and turned the guns on the government palace.

In a matter of two hours the palace was taken and the dictator, Yusuf Karamanli, was deposed. Only two Marines were killed and one wounded.

My question is, given this precedent, what is our president waiting for?
