Prince George’s County Police on Wednesday announced an arrest in a weekend homicide in Langley Park.

Police say Mario Domingo-Ucelo, 24, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the killing of Abraham Felipe-Lopez on Sunday night. Mr. Domingo-Ucelo was charged with first-degree murder. He was being held without bond.

Police say officers responded to the 1400 block of Kanawha Street for a report of a cutting on April 2 at about 11:19 p.m. Officers found Mr. Felipe-Lopez, 32, suffering from trauma to his body. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Mr. Domingo-Ucelo and Mr. Felipe-Lopez, both of whom lived on the block where the killing occurred, had been involved in an argument that escalated to the stabbing.
