FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) – Virginia State Police say they have identified a hit-and-run taxi driver who killed a Herndon man on Interstate 66 and are seeking two people they believe were in the taxi at the time of the accident.

Police say the passengers would have been picked up early Sunday at the Lucky Bar in northwest Washington and dropped off at the Vienna Metro station. Authorities want to talk to the passengers to verify information from the driver.

The crash happened about 3 a.m. Sunday on westbound I-66, near Route 7 in Falls Church. Police say 23-year-old Daniel Park was a passenger in a BMW. The driver pulled over to the shoulder, and Park walked into the highway to vomit. He was hit and died at the scene.
