ARLINGTON, TEXAS (AP) - The Texas Rangers have traded minor league infielder Marcus Lemon to the Atlanta Braves for cash considerations.

The Rangers announced the deal Friday before their season opener.

Lemon, a fourth-round pick by Texas in 2006, spent all of last season at Double-A Frisco. Lemon played second base and all three outfield positions.
