BALTIMORE | Police in Baltimore are investigating the death of an adult male whose body was discovered in his hotel room, but no foul play is suspected.
Police Det. Jeremy Silbert says the man was found Monday in his room at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. An autopsy to determine the man’s cause of death will most likely be completed Tuesday.
Silbert says a member of the hotel staff found the body about 1:30 p.m., but it is unclear why the person checked on the room or whether the individual was a member of the cleaning staff.
Police did not immediately identify the man.
The hotel manager, Robert M. Allen, declined to comment on specifics of the incident.
