Due to an editing error, Rep. Todd Tiahrt, Kansas Republican, was mistakenly listed in a May 28 story as a focus of a federal grand jury investigation into the award of earmarks involving The PMA Group, a now-defunct lobbying firm, and its clients. In February, the House Ethics Committee cleared House Appropriations defense subcommittee members, including Mr. Tiahrt, of any wrongdoing in the matter.
