A look at Comcast Corp.’s second-quarter results by business segment:

Video

Revenue: $4.92 billion, an increase of 0.7 percent from $4.88 billion a year ago.



Basic video customers: net loss of 265,000 during quarter, 24 percent greater than the loss of 214,000 a year ago.

Digital cable customers: net gain of 394,000, an increase of 58 percent from 250,000 a year ago.

High-speed Internet

Revenue: $2.13 billion, an increase of 10 percent from $1.93 billion a year ago.

Customers: net gain of 118,000, an increase of 82 percent from 65,000 a year ago.

Digital voice

Revenue: $916 million, an increase of 14 percent from $801 million a year ago.

Customers: net gain of 230,000, down 1.3 percent from 233,000 a year ago.

Local advertising

Revenue: $446 million, up 23 percent from $363 million a year ago.

Revenue: $454 million, up 18 percent from $384 million a year ago.
