Clarification
In his Thursday column, “War and peace in the Middle East,” Arnaud de Borchgrave cited Elliott Abrams’ letter of invitation to a Council on Foreign Relations luncheon in honor of prominent members of the Friends of Israel initiative. While Mr. Abrams endorsed the luncheon invitation, the article erroneously attributed to Mr. Abrams views of the Friends of Israel. Mr. de Borchgrave apologizes for the error.
