RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Two South Dakota telecommunications companies are getting federal money for broadband projects.
Highmore-based Venture Communications Cooperative is getting $5.2 million in grants and loans, and Salem-based TrioTel Communications is getting $12.3 million.
The federal stimulus money to improve broadband infrastructure and expand service is through the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
