Most memorable house: A well-known athlete in the Washington area purchased a new-construction home, and I negotiated for the seller to totally rebuild the kitchen, at no extra cost.
Worst experience buying or selling a house: My clients missed the deadline for the $8,000 federal tax credit for first-time homebuyers by two days. The seller, however, agreed to pay $8,000 in closing costs for the buyers, so it all worked out.
