• SRA International Inc., a Fairfax technology consulting company, said it won a contract to provide architectural design and database management to the Department of Defense. The contract has an estimated value of $48.1 million over five years.

• TVI Corp., a Glen Dale provider of military and civilian emergency first responder products, said it won a $5.1 million order from the U.S. Army for gas mask filter canisters.

• IceWEB Inc., a Herndon online application service company, said it won a $583,000 contract to provide networking solutions to an unnamed federal agency.



• JER Investors Trust Inc., a McLean specialty finance company, said it completed the sale of its portfolio of 12 public charter school properties for $39.5 million.

• Telkonet Inc., an energy management consulting company, said its net losses for its fourth quarter, which ended Dec. 31, increased 8 percent to $5.5 million (8 cents per share) from $5.1 million (8 cents) a year ago.

• MainStreet Bank of Herndon reported a net loss of $83,000 (3 cents) for its fourth quarter, which ended Dec. 31, compared with net income of $35,000 (1 cent) a year ago.

• Molinaro Koger, a D.C. hotel brokerage, said it brokered the sale of the Richmond Marriott Hotel to Apple REIT Seven Inc., a Richmond investment company, for an undisclosed sum.
