Mitchell & Best Homebuilders LLC is building 20 single-family homes on 7,000- to 10,000-square-foot cul-de-sac homesites at Hampshire Hamlet in Silver Spring, close to three Metro stations and the revitalized downtown Silver Spring.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick base, flagstone steps, walkways and stoops, stone garden walls, a front porch and a two-car garage.

Inside, all three models feature four or five bedrooms; 2½ or 3½ baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen, breakfast room and powder room; 9- and 10-foot ceilings; oak stairs; French doors with a transom in first-floor study; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; ceramic tile flooring in all baths; maple or white cabinets, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; a finished lower-level recreation room; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 2,200 to 3,500 finished square feet, with base prices from $659,900 to $839,900. Homeowner association fees are $199 per month.

The Hampshire model, with 3,200 square feet, is priced from $826,900. This home features a formal living room and formal dining room flanking the foyer entrance. A butler’s pantry links the dining room with the open kitchen and family room, which has a fireplace.

French doors with a transom lead into the study. The main level also has a powder room, a separate breakfast room and a covered rear porch.
