Play by play
After nabbing a Pulitzer and a MacArthur “genius” grant, playwright Suzan-Lori Parks was looking for a challenge. On Nov. 13, 2002, she committed to writing a play a day for an entire year. Now, “365 Days/365 Plays” has become the largest dramatic collaboration in U.S. history, with theaters in 14 major cities presenting a week’s worth of plays. Tonight at 7, Miss Parks will be at the Studio Theatre (14th and P Streets Northwest) — the site of last November’s D.C. premiere — to discuss her work.
