Aug. 25: Tenth annual White’s Ford Potomac River Crossing near Dickerson, commemorating the 145th anniversary of the Army of Northern Virginia’s movement that started the Maryland campaign of 1862. Today: The Mosby Heritage Area Association presents “Cavaliers, Courage and Coffee” from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. beginning at the Loudoun Museum, 16 Loudoun St. SW, Leesburg. The costumed Grey Ghost Interpretive Group tells stories about Col. John Mosby and life in Leesburg during the Civil War while strolling along the streets of the city. Free.
