Zilker Metropolitan Park (Austin, TX) - Zilker Park is a metropolitan park in the heart of Austin, TX, made up of 350 acres of land. It is noted for hosting the Austin City Limits Music Festival and crowds of up to 42,000 people. Some of it's main attractions are the Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Botanical Garden, and its numerous soccer and volleyball fields- not to mention it has a polo field.

A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
