Prime Minister of Tunisia, Mohammed Ghannouchi, centre, appears on state television with other unidentified government members, Friday Jan. 14, 2011,  to announce that he is assuming power in Tunisia. The announcement came on Friday after many thousands of protesters mobbed the capital of Tunis to demand the ousting of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, and unconfirmed reports said he has left the country.
