Also known as the Protector Ring, the Dyson LePetit Ring Pistol is the smallest operational revolver in the world. Although not much is known about the pistol, it is believed to have been mostly sold to gamblers as a form of protection and was designed in the late 1800's to early 1900’s.

A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
