Bill Paxton - actor and film director. He appeared in blockbusters films such as The Terminator, Aliens, Predator 2, True Lies, Apollo 13, Twister, Titanic , U-571, Edge of Tomorrow and Nightcrawler. Paxton also starred in the HBO drama series Big Love. In 2013, he received an Emmy Award nomination for his performance in the miniseries Hatfields & McCoys. He played the big bad bully Chet Donnelly in 1985’s Weird Science

A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
