Boeing employee's conduct simulation production training in the Final Assembly Building on June 16, 2011 in Charleston, SC. The training simulates how the 787 Dreamliner would move through production at the facility. The Final Assembly Building will be home to the second 787 Dreamliner final assembly and delivery facility. The building is the size of 10.5 football fields and can house two 787 Dreamliners wingtip to wingtip. Boeing will be able to deliver three airplanes per month. Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
