The photo and other alibi information helped McBride prove that he was wrongly arrested and charged in a Jan. 1, 2017 home invasion in his former hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Linn County in Iowa agreed Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, to pay McBride $285,000 to resolve the federal lawsuit McBride filed earlier in January. (Joseph McBride/Courtesy of Thomas P.
