This combination of satellite images released by Copernicus, the European Union's Earth observation program, shows a massive quarantine camp built in Shijiazhuang in China's Hebei province. China is building a COVID quarantine center with more than 4,000 rooms in the northern city of Shijiazhuang, at a speed that's rarely seen in other countries. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
