Premier Restoration Services demos the interior of the St. Francis' Episcopal Church located on South Central Avenue on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in the Old Town business district in Eureka. The first floor of the church flooded with about 48 inches of water, the same amount in December 2015. The company demoed and rebuilt the church after the December 2015 flood. Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
