A person familiar with the situation says Jordan, who has been New Orleans’ sack leader in six of the past seven seasons, has agreed to a three-year extension worth up to $55.5 million. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, because the extension, which follows the two years left on his current contract and runs through 2023, is not expected to be signed until Wednesday and has not been announced.
