FILE - In this Jan. 10, 2017, file photo, Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti gestures during an NFL football news conference, in Owings Mills, Md. It’s been a week since Ravens coach John Harbaugh floated the idea of adding Colin Kaepernick, a veteran who has Super Bowl experience and the baggage that comes from his decision last year to literally sit out the National Anthem on game day. The topic came up because Joe Flacco, the team’s starter for the past nine seasons, came to training camp with a bad back. Bisciotti contends that Kaepernick’s protest last year _ along with the quarterback’s assertion that he will stand for the National Anthem this year _ are topics to be considered.
