The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is spending at least $600,000 to back Quist in his bid against Republican Greg Gianforte and Libertarian Mark Wicks. The amount is paltry compared with the millions of dollars being pumped into the race by outside Republican groups. (AP Photo/Bobby Caina Calvan, File)
