The organization has settled a case with New York's attorney general, who claimed the GASL was not complying with state and federal fair housing laws because it had restricted ownership of homes to people of German descent. The agreement with the attorney general calls for the ouster of organization leaders and regular reports to the state indicating compliance with all laws. (AP Photo/Frank Eltman).
