In this Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, photo, Susan Martin looks over an invitation to a seminar on flipping homes, featuring a cover photo of Tarek and Christina El Moussa, from HGTV's "Flip Or Flop," at her home in Chico, Calif. Martin attended a seminar sponsored by Zurixx LLC, a Utah-based education company, expecting to see reality TV stars Andy and Candis Meredith of "Old Home Love," a show that aired on HGTV and its sister channel the DIY Network. Martin and others say they attend the events to learn about flipping homes from reality stars like the Meredith's or the El Moussa's only to find that the stars don't appear and they are asked to spend thousands of dollars to attend more classes.
