Ferentz is facing a challenge in the off-season from his Iowa neighbors. After years of disagreements, trial is scheduled in February in a lawsuit that pits Ferentz and his wife against the three other families who live along a private road outside Iowa City. A judge is expected to hear testimony and decide whether the Ferentzes have breached a 2001 legal agreement and trespassed by planting trees that protrude onto Saddle Club Road.
