A ghost bike sits at the intersection of Maxwell Avenue and Red Rock Road in Newport, Minn., near the entrance ramp to westbound Interstate 494, on Jan. 11, 2018. This was the site where a truck hit bicyclist Peter Morey. After Morey died in May 2017, his brother put up a ghost bike at the intersection, according to Morey's wife, Krista Morey. The bikes are known as "ghost bikes" to commemorate casualties of bike accidents. (Bob Shaw/Pioneer Press via AP)
