FILE - In this Tuesday, June 4, 2019 file photo, Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May and President Donald Trump walk through the Quadrangle of the Foreign Office for a joint press conference in central London. The resignation of the United Kingdom’s ambassador to the United States is a rare instance of a souring in relations between the Trans-Atlantic allies, though there have a few nadirs over the decades. Trump has made clear his displeasure over outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May’s handling of Britain’s exit from the European Union. His sharp criticism over the past three years, that she didn’t follow his advice, seem to have been tempered when he was welcomed on a state visit this spring. (AP Photo/Frank Augstein, file)
