
This Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, photo released by the Riverside Police Department shows suspect, Hugo Cesar Garciao, 32, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Police say Garciao stabbed two bouncers and shot at them before he was subdued outside a popular restaurant in Riverside, Calif.. The Press-Enterprise reports a bouncer at Duke's Bar & Grill in Riverside, Calif., had stopped a man from entering because he avoided a search early Saturday morning. Riverside police say the man then pulled out a knife and stabbed the bouncer in the abdomen. He stabbed the second bouncer in the back and neck. Police say the man pulled out a gun during the struggle and fired, but missed. The bouncers held him down until police arrived. (Riverside Police partment via AP)

Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
