Israel says what happened to him and his family in a grocery store parking lot on May 7, 2020 is another example of the injustice that has sparked civil unrest nationwide since George Floyd's death after a Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee on his neck. Police officials say they responded appropriately to a complaint about a black man with a gun. (Naphtali Israel via AP)
