This undated image released by Profiles in History shows the title page of a manuscript that would become the Alcoholics Anonymous “Big Book,” which includes stories and strategies for controlling addiction. The 161-page typed manuscript includes handwritten notes by Alcoholics Anonymous founders, including co-founder William Griffith Wilson. It will be displayed at a New York City gallery for three days in May 2017 before being sold at auction in June in California in a sale that is expected to top $2 million. Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
