
Hazardous materials contractors for the city remove debris from the home where a body was found in the 6200 block of Martel Avenue in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Dallas fire and police departments started searching the house following a welfare check on Saturday. Due to the circumstances the City Attorney’s office was contacted to obtain a warrant to provide a removal process of the debris from inside the home. Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
