Technical difficulties on this one could delay tax refunds for millions of Americans. That agency is the Health and Human Services department. To facilitate complicated connections between the new health care law and income taxes, HHS will have to send some 5 million households new tax forms that are like W-2s for health care. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
