Authorities say two people have been injured after they were hit by falling debris when part of a building collapsed in north Philadelphia. WPVI-TV reported that part of the two-story building collapsed around 7:45 p.m. in the Logan section of the city and two people who were walking by were hit by debris. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
