
Henry Ford (July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947) the founder of the Ford Motor Company. He developed and manufactured the first automobile that many middle class Americans could afford. In doing so, Ford converted the automobile from an expensive curiosity into a practical conveyance that would profoundly impact the landscape of the 20th Century. Ford was 45 when he introduced the Model T automobile which revolutionized transportation and American industry. As the owner of the Ford Motor Company, he became one of the richest and best-known people in the world. Ford left most of his vast wealth to the Ford Foundation and arranged for his family to control the company permanently

Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
