This Feb. 22, 2013 photo provided by the Schubert campaign shows a Anne Marie Schubert, who's running for the Sacramento County District Attorney candidate in the June, 2014 primary. Schubert, a deputy district attorney, is opposed by Deputy Attorney General Maggy Krell and former county and federal prosecutor Todd Leras. Schubert, who is openly gay, a distinction that generally wouldn’t matter in a state where 7 percent of the Legislature is gay, including both the current and former speakers of the state Assembly, is the younger sister of Proposition 8’s key proponent and political strategist, Frank Schubert.
