Nicole Johnson and Michael Phelps began dating in 2007, took a short break in 2011 and reunited in 2014. They got engaged a year later and welcomed their son, Boomer Robert Phelps, in May 2016. The couple was secretly married at an oceanside ceremony in October.

A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
