
This weekend, Arlingtons Artisphere will celebrate nearly four and a half centuries of the Bard of Avons incomparable use of the English languageand if his 38 plays and 154 sonnets arent enough for you, you can help write another in the writers iconic style during this special event. The Improvised Shakespeare Company will perform two shows on Friday night, in which the audience will suggest a title for a yet-to-be-written Shakespearean play that the company will then cobble together on the fly.

Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
