
This what many of the camps and homes look like on IDJC. A "camp" is what we call a place where you go for fishing and/or hunting. It's usually just a place where guys will spend a weekend drinking beer and hunting or fishing, so they don't care if there's running water or electricity. Now, some of the places on IDJC are nicer than this, of course, so I'm not sure we can quite call this "typical" but it's close. Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
