2017 BMW 5-Series a redesigned and lightened medium sized sports sedan from the German auto maker. A new platform shared with a redesigned 7-series will use a mix of steel, aluminum, and even carbon fiber. The M5 keeps the current 4.4-liter V-8, with output boosted past 600 horsepower. Expected late next year with prices starting over $50,000 to more than $100,000 for the M5.

Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
