A service station sits empty in the middle-of-nowhere Utah ghost town of Woodside. The town, which features an old mine, a geyser and a supposed hideout of famed outlaws, is located three hours southeast of Salt Lake City. The owner is looking to sell the property for $3.9 million. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
