The chance to visit an underwater Santa Claus comes this Sunday (Dec. 4) at the Olney Swim Center. In exchange for bringing $5 worth of canned goods to the swim center, kiddies will get a short lesson in scuba and a chance to pose for a picture with an underwater Santa.

A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
