The days of friendly open crowds are seemingly gone. Both Keith Urban (left) and Jason Aldean (right) have experienced violence at recent shows. In July, 55 people were arrested at a concert by Mr. Urban in Mansfield, Massachusetts. There was even at least one charge of rape. A 22-year-old man was found dead — authorities said it was caused by extreme intoxication — after a concert by Mr. Aldean.

Hegseth joins veterans, generals to mark 80th anniversary of battle of Iwo Jima
A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
