Braves rally for five in the 10th in game two, down Nats 5-0

Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Chris Sale was a dominant force Monday evening in the second game of a split doubleheader against the Washington Nationals. Sale allowed no runs on just three hits, while strking out nine over eight innings as the Braves downed the Nats 5-0 in 10 innings in a game that was delayed by rain for two hours at the start. Nats starting pitcher MacKenzie Gore gave up only two hits over 5 1/3 innings in the game at Nationals Park in Washington D.C., September 16, 2025.
