In this video clip Egyptian Cleric Hazem Abu Ismail explains the secret meaning of Pepsi: “Pay Every Penny Save Israel.” Someone should alert him to the alternate myth that “Pepsi-Cola” is an anagram of “Episcopal,” so he can get a “Crusaders and Jews” meme going. For the record, the Pepsi brand was trademarked in 1903, long before there was a state of Israel to save. As for Coke, the legend is that if you look at the cursive “Coca Cola” logo in a mirror it is Arabic for “No Muhammad, No Makkah (Mecca)”. But committed jihadists need not tolerate being refreshed by these suspect western soft drinks. Try a tall cool glass of Mecca Cola instead. Company founder Tawfiq Mathlouthi, who is devoted to the destruction of Israel, pledges to give 10% of his profits to Palestinian causes. You can use it to wash down your bag of Yasser Arafat chips, now available in popular cheese and paprika flavors. No truth at all to the rumor that both products have significant pork content.
