Key findings include: Making a fall beach getaway further affordable, CheapTickets has introduced its Fall Beach Sale, offering $100-off qualifying flight + hotel packages of four or more nights using the promotional code FALLBEACH100. Travelers must book by Nov. 23, 2008, for travel through March 31, 2009. [Note: there are restrictions detailed on the site] A seasonal guide for the budget-smart traveler, CheapTickets’ Fall 2008 Off-Season Deals Report reviewed the average price for all hotel bookings to destinations included in the report, which were booked on [the firm’s Web site] for travel from Aug. 18, 2008, through Dec. 17, 2008. The pricing was then compared to the highest average monthly rate for all hotel bookings to those same destinations booked on [that same Web site].
