Offensive tackle Kerry Brown , who injured his shoulder earlier this week, was released — joining defensive lineman J.T. Mapu as the first two players cut from camp. Zarnell Fitch, a 6-foot-3, 320-pound defensive tackle who played in college at TCU, is one of two newcomers. Fitch was an undrafted free agent signed by the Jets in 2006 and spent time on their practice squad. There is no official word on who the second new player is yet. More on him later.
